How set-asides work

When a federal buyer sets a solicitation aside, only firms holding that status may submit — but you must prove the status exactly as the solicitation requires (SAM.gov registration, current certification, sometimes a signed representation). Claiming a set-aside you can't document is itself a non-responsive trigger. Every $99 compliance breakdown flags exactly which representations and certifications the specific solicitation demands.

This report compiles and structures publicly posted government solicitation information from official procurement sources. It is not legal advice, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, and does not replace reading the full official solicitation and its amendments. Requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines are current as of the source posting — always confirm against the official solicitation and any addenda before you submit. Being responsive is your responsibility; verify every mandatory item in the official document.
